Dragica Cvek Jordan was born in Trnava (Moslavina, Croatia) 1940. year. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1964 in the class of Miljenko Stancic. That same year, she married the painter Basil Joseph Jordan.

His art works first solo exhibition in 1967 in Zagreb Salon CAA, and in Brussels. At the Youth Salon in Zagreb was held in 1969 and was awarded the prize for painting.

Her painting represents an outstanding example of poetic realism, especially the characters of children and brides in unreal white space.
